Edit Acoustic

EDit Acoustic are an upbeat, fun, stylish and exciting acoustic duo and can provide both high energy, party fun and more laid-back performances to suit your events needs.

Emily and David are life long friends and together bring laughs and real atmosphere to a musical set that covers a wide variety of rock, pop, indie, dance and folk from the last 30 years plus some classic tunes thrown in too! We also love mash-ups and medleys and give a new twist to well known tunes.

We are both lead vocalists and can offer unique female/male vocal harmonies and our sets include acoustic guitars, percussion and either standard drums or a cajon drum providing a fuller band sound but for the cost of a duo.

There is also the option to include a piano based set for a more laid-back performance perfect for a drinks reception and together with our DJ playlist service in between and after live sets we can cater for all your day’s musical needs in one compact package.

Lighting for that party vibe, full Public Liability insurance and all PAT tested equipment are provided as standard.

Whether you are looking for a festival vibe, an intimate gathering or a bouncing dance floor we will guarantee to really get the party started!

Want things to get rawkus but space is limited? Or maybe you want your drinks reception to pop off and get the good vibes going asap! Edit Acoustic are a fun, lively, in your face acoustic act like no other. Edit can adapt to any atmosphere, chilled vibes to riotous mosh pit, they can take care of it all. Male and female vocals with attitude and edge, combining two guitars and then a unique drum set up to keep people jumping around.

Edit play a real mish mash of tunes, from old school to new school. Chilled soulful acoustic singalong, to high tempo tracks that make you put your hands in the air like you just don’t care. Perfect for intimate parties or big festival themed events, Edit will always bring the minerals to create the good vibes.

We booked EDit for our wedding at Glyngynwydd Wedding Barns. We wanted a relaxed, easy going vibe with music in the barn, some mood music for dinner and then to get everyone dancing. Later on acoustic music around the fire pit. Emily on the drums and Dave on the guitar. It was epic, and loved by everyone. Emily and David were awesome, energetic, so personable and SIMPLY THE BEST wedding band anyone could wish for. They helped make our day truly wonderful. Thank you.

These guys played at my daughter’s wedding on New Years Eve. Top, top show from start to finish with a great sound, clear acoustics and a full dance floor all the way through. If you are looking for a band for any occasion I can’t recommend EDit Acoustic highly enough.Stop looking for another act and get these two booked!

We recently had David and Emily play at my mum’s birthday party. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with and were really open with their playlist on the day, to suit my mums and the audience’s taste. Emily had a zoom call with us prior to the event and communicated with us frequently in the run up. On the day both David and Emily had a great energy and got people up dancing. I personally danced the night away for a good 3 hours and thoroughly enjoyed Mr Brightside! I cannot recommend this band enough and I thank you both for contributing to a fantastic night.
